Jamie Reinschmidt went to law school at the University of Minnesota and graduated in 2014. During law school she clerked at a private law firm in Minneapolis working primarily in criminal defense. After graduation, she was a law clerk in Hennepin County for two years in the serious felony division. She then worked for the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office for two years prior to coming to the Stearns County Attorney’s Office where she currently works in the criminal division.
She will serve on the Board through May 2028.

Nicole Moberg graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2017. In addition to clerking for the Honorable Michael S. Jesse, Nicole has also practiced in family law, estate planning, and Social Security Disability. Nicole is currently serving as an assistant public defender for the State of Minnesota.

Christy Thorson has been an attorney with Bradshaw & Bryant since 2016 and has been partner since 2024. Christy has been practicing personal injury since 2011. In addition to handling personal injury cases, Christy serves as an arbitrator for automobile no-fault cases through the American Arbitration Association (AAA). She serves on the AAA No-Fault Standing Committee and has helped train new arbitrators. She is a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice and the Stearns/Benton Bar Association. She participates in Women Trial Lawyers and has presented on no-fault law at the annual conference. She also volunteers for Central Minnesota Legal Services and is a volunteer judge for mock trial competitions. She handles the contract with both Stearns and Benton counties to represent people being committed for mental illness and/or chemical dependency or people in guardianship situations. Christy grew up in Spicer, Minnesota, the oldest of three. She graduated from New London-Spicer High School and then Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter. Christy received her law degree from Hamline University School of Law (now Mitchell Hamline) in 2008 and received her license from the State of Minnesota that same year. Christy lives in Maple Grove with her husband and four fur babies and has a bonus daughter and granddaughter.

Lily Sackett was the 2023/24 SBBA President and is an associate attorney with Jeddeloh Snyder Stommes and spends most workdays in the St. Cloud office. She practices in the areas of Family law, guardianships and conservatorship, civil litigation and civil commitments. Her board term expires May 2027.

Alexander Gutnik is an associate attorney at Heller & Thyen, PA. He is an experienced family law, employment law, and housing law attorney. He also works in the areas of unemployment insurance benefits, criminal expungements, and criminal defense. His Board term expires May 2026.

Jessica Hockley is currently an assistant county attorney at the Stearns County Attorney’s Office in the Special Victim’s Unit in the Criminal Division. Jessica started at the Stearns County Attorney’s Office as a Law Clerk and was hired on as an attorney in October of 2018. Her Board term expires May 2025.

Luke Godzala attended William Mitchell College of Law, graduating in 2012. His legal career began when he clerked for the Honorable Leonard A. Weiler. He has also worked as an Assistant St. Cloud City Attorney and currently as an Assistant Stearns County Attorney in the Criminal Division. His Board term expires May 2024.
